VAV Africa convenes 120 grassroots organizers for intensive fellowship on non-violent advocacy, media literacy, and survivor-centered care.
The flagship VAV Africa Leadership Academy recently concluded its continental summit, uniting young activists and community builders from 15 African countries. This intensive curriculum equips participants with data-driven advocacy skills, digital safety protocols, and psychological first-aid methodology.
Empowering Youth Leadership
Youth represent over 60% of Africa's population. When young leaders are provided with the structural tools, funding, and mentorship required to champion community safety, transformative change accelerates exponentially.
Curriculum Highlights
- Crisis de-escalation and safe-house coordination.
- Strategic storytelling and investigative reporting for social change.
- Mobilizing local municipal resources for women's healthcare access.
Graduates of the 2026 cohort will lead community intervention hubs in their home districts, supported by year-round sub-grants from VAV Africa.
